Flowers
April 21, 2006
Today I decided to take pictures of flowers
outside of my apartment. I also visited a folklore village on
the grounds of Yeungnam University that has a replica of an old
traditional Korean village. There were also many flowers and a
small forest with paths to walk on. It was a beautiful day and
there are many different flowers here compared to America. I
mainly wanted to do this page for myself so I could visit it later
and remind myself of how pretty it is here.
My mother once told me that my
first word as a child was "flower." She said we were walking
along a sidewalk, that we walked frequently on, and told me that I
pointed to a flowerbed and said "flower." Ahhhh....how cute
was I!?
What I learned
today about Korea: 1) Always remember to "stop and smell
the roses."
