Cambodia Maps

A couple of weeks ago Yong Won (Jin's Husband) asked me if I wanted to go to either Hong Kong or Cambodia and I said "Sure!"  The next day we bought tickets to Cambodia.  He's what you would call a little impulsive and spontaneous.

Today we flew from Daegu, South Korea to Macau (a small territory on the southern coast of the People's Republic of China).  We stayed there most of the day and then flew to Cambodia (Siemreab) at night.

The flight to Macau

Yong Won's co-worker and his younger brother and I joined a Korean tour group for the trip.  During the flight, attendants spilt water or something all over the carpet and my socks got wet.  I tried to dry them in the sun but that didn't work out so well.

Visiting a temple

Saint Paul's Cathedral

Saint Paul's Cathedral was built in the early 1600s and the only thing left standing is the facade and steps you see in the above pictures.

What I learned today about Korea:  1)  Wet socks don't dry too well in an airplane window.
