(Pish, Jin, Lori Ann, me and Eric)

September 24, 2007 - Tonight I saw Lori Ann in Janufa for the Los Angeles Opera.  She was awesome!

(me and my camera assistant Eric!)

September 23, 2007 - Today I started shooting my "Project 1" for my LACC (Los Angeles City College) film school project. I have to do a series of 21 basic shots consisting of simple camera placement and moves.  This is me shooting my first shot, the title card!

(Todd and I looking cool pretending to talk about important things and carry imaginary trays.)

September 21, 2007 - My buddy Todd & his girlfriend Mo have started a production company and have asked me to be involved.  It's awesome that they asked me and I'm super happy to help.  On their first project "Man's Best Friend," I'll be the camera assistant.  I totally get to use the cool clapper board! :)

(me, Peter Wooley, & Pish)

September 20, 2007 - Here's my buddy Pish and I at a special screening of Blazing Saddles with it's Production Designer, Peter Wooley.  As the small crowd watched the move, Peter and his Art Director commented on different interesting aspects of the film.  One of my favorite bits of info were about the character Bart and Charlie.  Towards the beginning of the film, when they begin to sink in the quicksand, he said they didn't have enough money to do the trick right, so they just had both actors squat down to make it look like they were sinking!  Ah...Hollywood!

September 04, 2007 - Today was first day of film school at LACC!  Yeah!

Cupid!

August 19, 2007 - I did a photo shoot today dressed as Cupid for a Hustler Magazine Lisa Lampanelli interview (visit her website).  I shot her in her bum!  She was very nice and a good sport.  I guess it will be in next year's February issue.  Check under the Pictures and "Print Work" section of my website to see more pictures.

3 cuties - Dee Lily, me, & Kina Kai

Dee & Kina were playing abused children in a Chinese Mattel toy

factory and I, as always, was playing a crazy lady.

August 15, 2007 - I did a photo shoot today dressed as a Crazy Lady in a parody ad for Hustler Magazine.  Check under the Pictures and "Print Work" section of my website to see more pictures.

Mark Poisella (Director of "Dynamite Swine") and me as "The Zone"

August 12, 2007 - Today was (crosses fingers) the last cast shooting day for a film that started a few years back called "Dynamite Swine" (www.myspace.com/dynamiteswine).  If the trailers are any indicator, the film should be a hilarious riot.  The premiere should be early next year!  Check under the Pictures and "Film Work" section of my website to see more pictures.

Todd Valcourt as "The Great American Hero, me as "Boy George," and Morag "Mo" MacPherson

as one of the "Robert Palmer - Simply Irresistible MTV video Girls"

August 11, 2007 - Today was (crosses fingers) the last cast shooting day for a film that started a few years back called "Dynamite Swine" (www.myspace.com/dynamiteswine).  If the trailers are any indicator, the film should be a hilarious riot.  The premiere should be early next year!  Check under the Pictures and "Film Work" section of my website to see more pictures.

Exciting News!

I recently signed up for the Cinema Program at Los Angeles City College!  I'm, at minimum, going to take as many classes about film there as I can and I might even go for my Associates of Arts Degree in Cinema Production.  Super in the future plans might be to go for a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television at UCLA...I can dream can't I!?!

Check out the Cinema course descriptions at http://cinematv.lacitycollege.edu/!cinemac.htm or their Cinema-TV catalog at Los Angeles City College Catalog - Cinema-TV.  If you want to learn more about filmmaking, come join me!

I've always been enamored and intrigued with filmmaking and now I finally have the opportunity and the time to study.  Classes start September 4, 2007 and I'm greatly anticipating this leap into the next phase of my acting career.

Chaplin...Keaton...Gibson...Costner...Trent?

August 11, 2007 - I'll be dressed up like Boy George for a friend's birthday party.  Keith and his wife Marvi are both turning 40, so it's going to be a huge 80's themed birthday bash.  I'm playing the doorman, so I'm pretty certain everyone will run when the see a big fat ugly Boy George saying "Name please?"

August 12, 2007 - I'm shooting a scene for "Dynamite Swine" (www.myspace.com/dynamiteswine).  It should be the last rounds of shooting for a film that has been in the midst of post production for quite some time.  It's an amazing testament that the director (Mark Poisella) has kept on keeping on.  Independent filmmaking sure ain't easy!

August 15, 2007 - I'm booked to do another Hustler comedy photo shoot where I'll be dressed as a crazy old lady.

Anyone see a pattern developing here?
I mean...how many times do I need to wear a dress as an actor?

July 26, 2007 - I did a photo shoot today dressed as a Dirty Santa for the comedy section of Hustler Magazine.  I also played the body double of Vice President Dick Cheney, but I forgot to get photos of that one!  The are going to chop my head off anyway.  Check under the Pictures and "Print Work" section of my website to see more pictures.

July 21, 2007 - Last week was the 14th annual Comedy Pig anniversary show in Frederick, Maryland at the Maryland Ensemble Theatre.  Go to my Misc. Clips page to see the show!

The 14th Comedy Pig Anniversary

July 14, 2007 - I'll be performing in the 14th annual Comedy Pig anniversary show, Saturday July 14th in Frederick Maryland at the Maryland Ensemble Theatre.

It's a tough job, but someone has to do it.

June 29, 2007 - I did a photo shoot today dressed as an old lady for the comedy section of Hustler Magazine.  Check under the Pictures and "Print Work" section of my website to see more.

May 29, 2007 - I did a photo shoot today as a baseball fan for the November 2007 issue of Hustler.  Death was looming over our shoulder the whole time.  It's a parody ad about hot dogs killing people or something.  What the heck happened with hot dogs since I was out of the country!?!

My Korea Trip

April 27, 2007

April 27, 2007 - I'm back from Korea!  I took a 5 month trip that lasted 1 & 1/2 years (September 2005 to April 2007).  I visited Japan, China (twice), Cambodia, Thailand, and all over Korea.  I took approximately 983 million photos and kept a pretty extensive journal of my trip here - My Korea Trip.

After my red belt test

me, Gwan Jang Nim - Lee, Yong He (8th Dan main teacher)

and Sa Bum Nim - Joo, Sang Chul (3rd Dan assistant teacher)

See a video of my test!

April 24, 2007 - I passed my red belt test in Hapkido today.  Check out here under My Korea Trip for more info.

May 24, 2006

April 21, 2007

April 24, 2007 - After many years of being overweight with daily back pain, I had to make some changes in my life or end up paying serious consequences in the future.  In June of 2006 I started to exercise regularly.  On May 22, 2006 I weighed 272.1 pounds.  Today I weighed in at 218.2 pounds.  So I've lost 53.9 pounds!  Go me!

Jeju Love Land Pictures

March 28, 2007 - During My Korea Trip to Daegu, South Korea, my friend (an editor at Hustler Magazine), asked me to fly to Jeju island and take pictures of an indoor/outdoor art museum about sex called Jeju Loveland.  My photos will be a two page spread in their October 2007 issue.

Dynamite Swine in post production.

In 2005, I played the part of Rollie Fisher in a film called Dynamite Swine.  It's in perpetual post production and it's certain to be completed before Jesus Christ comes again (or the for the first time if you're Jewish).  Visit their MySpace page for more info.

Film Poster

Another film that's been in post production for quite a while (since 2001) is "Plain and Simple."  It's an animated film where I play one of the few live characters (a zoo manager named Ebenezer Kragwich).  They are putting the final touches on the animation now.
