Going Away Party
April 26, 2007

At my final KKang English class, the kids threw me a
going away party. It was an incredibly sweet gesture and I was
deeply touched. On the balloons, many children wrote "sorry
teacher." At first, it looked like they were apologizing for
something. Then I realized it was their way of saying that they were
"sorry" to see me go. Their English isn't perfect just yet,
but the thought was wonderful.

What I learned today about Korea:
1) I'll miss these little guys.
