Final Class
August 31, 2006
A little pizza celebration during our last class.
Today was my final computer class. I got
here at the end of last September and it took a few months of research,
development, and advertising to get the classes off the ground.
My first class was in January of this year and the class grew
steadily since then. The LA office wants to move the class to
another location after next January, so my work in Korea is
technically done.
I'll take the next few months to relax a little
and travel some. I'll also continue to help out friends and
their children with English. It's a lot of fun helping them
and I think a unique opportunity for them to practice English with
an American. English is vital for their schooling and their
potential success in the International business sector, so I take
pride in what I'm doing and enjoy it very much.
Each day I'm missing Los Angeles and acting more
and more. I'm starting to itch real bad to get back there, so
my plan is to go back in the middle of November before the crazy
travel rush of Thanksgiving.
What I learned
today about Korea: 1) I'm going to China in two days!
