Steak!
July 30, 2006
I cooked for my Korean family today. I made
a traditional American meal of steak, mashed potatoes (sadly from
powder), corn, and pork-n-beans. I also made some home-made
garlic toast that turned out yummy.
Jin's mother going to town on some yummy steak.
(Ignore the burnt edges please.)
Jin's mother thinks I'm a good cook. She
wants to open a restaurant with me and have me cook my famous
Trentini Linguini. I
really enjoy Korea; the food, the traditions, the sites, the people,
etc. If I could find acting work here that satiated my desire,
I'd probably stay longer. But, eventually I'm sure, I'd still
want to be back in LA so I can have a chance to make larger films to
appeal to a broader audience. I exist to make others smile,
and the more people that I can make smile, the bigger & better I
smile. (sample below)

What I learned
today about Korea: 1)
It's very difficult to not burn steak
in the broiler of a Korean stove.
