Hmmmm - Popeye's

My walking continued the furthest North of my apartments so far.  I felt just like the explorers of old did I'm sure.  Especially when I found a Popeye's Chicken and  Burger King!  I wonder if I should take some of my findings back to the Queen?  Nah...I'll just bring her some tea.  Everywhere I walk, I just find more & more side streets with shops and restaurants.  Every side street I walk down has another side street with more shops...and so on, and so on.  It's pretty nuts how many are here.

I wandered into a basement where I found Korean women playing ping pong.  They all whipped their heads around and stared at me staring at them.  So, of course, I took a picture.  I made my way home walking about 5 miles or so total and on the way back got some Popeye's to go.  I thought I'd be all cool and order from the pictures on the wall, but I couldn't figure out which was the 3 piece chicken meal.  The waitress saw me struggling with basic pictures and handed me a menu in English!  Nice work!  I ordered my grub and split.  They put tape on top of the drink lid if it's a to go order.  I assume because a lot of people are on scooters or other vehicles that are bumpy.

What I learned today about Korea:  1)  There's a Popeye's and Burger King close to my apartment.  2) They don't use addresses like we do in USA.  They just use major intersections or landmarks to get from place to place.
